The Clubhouse has six hotel style rooms and can accommodate 24 guests.

The Honeymoon Suite features a California King bed, a sitting area an extra-large bathroom, and a large tub. It also has a private balcony with views of Norway Canyon and the Bitterroot National Forest.
The Standard Suites are large well-appointed rooms with California King beds, private bathroom sitting areas and are tastefully decorated.
The Junior Suites are slightly smaller with California King Beds private bathrooms with showers and are tastefully decorated.

Scotlyn Ranch has three custom-built log cabins by a local craftsman.
Aspen Cabin is a comfortable log cabin. The Blue Pine interior gives the guest a truly rustic experience. It has a queen bed a bathroom, a shower, a full-sized sofa bed, and a small kitchen. The covered porch is great for spotting wildlife and views of Norway Canyon and the Bitterroot National Forest.
Birch Cabin is larger with two rooms two queen beds plus an upstairs loft with two twin beds. It also has its own bathroom with a shower a small kitchen and a covered porch to take in the scenery.
Cottonwood Cabin Tastefully appointed all wood single bedroom log cabin. It has a Queen bed, a bathroom, shower, a full-sized sofa bed, and a small kitchen. The covered porch is great for spotting the many wild animals that call Scotlyn Ranch home.
The ranch has many outbuildings, each fully equipped and ready for service.
The Main Shop - The ground floor is all concrete and is heated with a very efficient hybrid wood-burning stove. The craftsman will enjoy the separate wood and metal rooms, and the well-organized tool room. Also, on the main floor is a commercial-style kitchen bathroom and plenty of storage area.
If the power goes out the shop has a 25kw solar array and a 21kw diesel generator and 84kwh battery bank along with 10,000 gal. water storage cistern with UV filtration system.
On the second floor is a 1,600 SQFT Caretaker's residence with a bathroom and bonus area. Because everywhere on Scotlyn Ranch has a view a spacious deck was built on two sides of the shop looking North and West. This part of Idaho is known for its Crimson sunsets and this deck won't disappoint

Horse Barn

The 60x80 barn is built to protect your live stock’s feed and your back. Its large opening and open span roof make chores a breeze. Move and stack hay with a tractor. The large rocked area eliminates the risk of being stuck in the springtime mud.


The 30x100 addition to the barn provides you with a full tack room and all the farrier tools needed. Undercover stables provide a safe place for horses to get out from the weather.


Outbuildings and Shop

  •  The silo and auger system included to store and feed birdseed or grains.
The Greenhouse is 16x32 and has a fan and louver system to regulate temperatures in the summer. The double-wall panels keep the greenhouse warm during the winter.
The poultry barn is 30x40 and has fenced outdoor pens with covered netting to protect the birds from predators. The barn will raise turkey, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and even a goat or two.
The maintenance/game processing building. 20x60 and is used as the big game and upland bird cleaning and processing room. The large walk-in cooler is also located in the building. There are three covered but open bays to park vehicles or equipment.
The fuel shed has a diesel tank and unleaded tank. It has full containment for environmental safety and is easily accessed by fuel delivery trucks.

Shooting Sports

Scotlyn Ranch has a regulation skeet field and a 5-stand sporting clay field. The sporting clays (pictured above) feature a beautiful view in the canyon below. The elevation change adds to the realism of wing shooting and has proven to add an element of difficulty even with the most experienced shooters.

Pistol Range

There is a covered area for setting up or for spectators and interactive targets. The large dirt mount ensures a safe shooting area for the responsible sportsman. The pistol range also features an Old West .22 Plinking Gallery. The old west gallery has a bank, a sheriff’s office, a jail, and a store, all with reactive targets hanging in the windows – some spin, some flap, and some swing.

Long Range Shooting

With over 4.5 square miles of private land, Scotlyn Ranch has the room to shoot REALLY long distances! The rifle range includes metal targets from 100 yards out to a mile.

Wildlife on Scotlyn Ranch

Scotlyn Ranch strongly believes in the conservation and protection of the wildlife and bringing back animals that were native to the area prior to civilization and cultivation. When they purchased the ranch there were almost no Elk or Pheasant living on the property due to overgrazing of the land and lack of proper habitat for the animals. The current ranch plan limits cattle grazing to two months a year, repurposed 130 acres of farm fields for bird habitat, and food plots for wildlife. The results were amazing. Within two years the Elk returned to their historical wintering grounds, with over 100 head of elk wintering at the ranch last year. As part of this effort, they also established Scotlyn Ranch as a shooting preserve for upland birds and have created over 100 acres of dedicated bird habitat. You will now regularly see and hear farm-raised, but now wild Chukar and Pheasant throughout the northern part of the ranch. Efforts continue to extend this to the southern parts of the ranch and into the canyons.
